There are three sides to every story, your side, my side and the truth. The Burden and The Message are a series of Paintings and Drawings that are based on two monumental events in my life and looks deeper into my interest of perception and sensory stimulation. How combined they create what we believe to be real and to have happened or happening, our truths but possibly not the real truth.  My hope is that through this investigation, these paintings will reveal a truth, one that is not initially evident.
